The Proceedings of the Old Bailey MARGARET BURKE. Theft; simple larceny (from 1827). 13th September 1827. Born 1809. Place of birth Tottenham Court Road, Tottenham Gender female. Height 5' 0". Religion Protestant (unspecified). Hair brown (light brown). Eyes grey (dark grey). Distinguishing marks scar (scar between eyebrows - at the top of nose - 2 red pimples at rt. corner of mouth). 1758. MARGARET BURKE was indicted for stealing, on the 28th of July , 11 yards of silk, value 30s. , the goods of William Andrews and Nelson Andrews .............. GUILTY . Aged 18. Transported for Seven Years .
