Benjamin was 22 years old and was transported for 'stealing a waistcoat and a slopfrock'. Benjamin was 5'3 1/2" tall, fair complexion, reddish hair, light hazel eyes, illiterate, protestant, single. Mother: Ann Uncles: Benjamin, john, a farmer, and Robert. 20/2/1840: TOL 7/7/1847: Free by Servitude 24/8/1847: Certificate. 7/2/1852: Benjamin Buxton – Inquest at Melbourne – accidental death – fell from a dray whilst intoxicated.
