1842, 22 November: Listed as a convict passholder and instructed to remain in the Westbury District (see Tasmania, Australia, Convict Court and Selected Records, 1800-1899; Pardons, Leave, Discharge Register of passes to convicts in the North, together with quarterly muster rolls, 1841-1844). 1844, 11 November: Sentenced at Hobart to an extra 18 months on his original transportation sentence for "larceny under £5" (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON34-1-4$init=CON34-1-4P428). 1846: Muster - Edward Flynn [sic] per Isabella - holder of a Ticket of Leave (see New South Wales and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849; Tasmania; Ledger Returns A-R; 1846). 1855, 10 May: An Edward Flynn, aged 60, who "cannot read or write", appeared before the Petty Sessions in Launceston and was fined £1, in default 14 days' jail, for being drunk in the street (see Tasmania, Australia, Insolvency and Petty Sessions, 1829-1902).

1833, 8 January: Edward Flinn, 38, was convicted on three charges of insubordination. 1833: On arrival in VDL, he was single, 38 years old and a labourer. He said he had been transported for insubordination x 3. He was 5'9" tall, with brown to grey hair and hazel eyes. His native place was Dublin (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON34-1-4$init=CON34-1-4P428). 1833: Edward Flinn, convict #622, was assigned to Major Gray; and then to Public Works (see Tasmania, Australia, Convict Court and Selected Records, 1800-1899). 1835: Muster - assigned to Mr Thomas Ritchie (see Tasmania, Australia, Convict Court and Selected Records, 1800-1899).
