Hobart, on the 7 May 1867, for sheep stealing, served 6 years, native place England, 64 yrs, 5 feet 7 inches high, grey hair, scar inside of right arm near elbow, scar left arm near elbow, resides at Port Arthur. Tasmania Police Gazette, 24th Nov 1871, p189. Prisoner discharged from HM Gaol during the week of the 29th Nov 1871 & 25 Nov 1871. Richard Gathercole, per Elphinstone 2, C.P., tried at S.C.
