Cumberland Assizes.  Richard Hodgson, aged 18, pleaded guilty the charge of stealing in the dwelling house of Mr. W. Atkinson, Penrith, innkeeper, bank notes and  bank notes and post bank bill, Value 10£, the property of Lt-Col. Jackson —Death. Transported for life. Westmorland Gazette, 17 April 1819.
