Leeds Intelligencer Yorkshire, England 6 Sep 1832 YORKSHIRE SUMMER ASSIZES THOMAS WINTER and THOMAS MOSS were convicted of stealing an ewe sheep the property of Mr. Joseph Howard of Hull.— All transported for life. Thomas Winter was also onboard. Thomas Moss was listed as 22 years old on arrival. Native Place: Yorkshire. Thomas was literate, protestant, single, 5'4" tall, fair complexion, dark brown hair, brown eyes, scar back of forefinger of left hand, eyebrows partially meeting. 8/11/1841: TOL, Goulburn 17/2/1846: TOL Passport - Allowed to remain at the Murrumbidgee in the service of Mr. John Stillas/Hillas on the recommendation of the Tumut Bench. C1850: Married Mry Ann Hayden (1833-24/10/1920) - cannot find registration. Children: Thomas Moss (1852) at Collingwood, Vic to (1929) at St Arnaud, Vic Fanny (Moss) Hudson (1854) at Talbot to (1940) at Avon Plains, Vic Anne (Moss) (1859) at Glendaruel near Amherst William James Moss (1860) at Amherst John Moss (1864) at Amherst to (1889) at Rutherglen, Vic Jane Moss (1867) at Amherst to (1962) at Sunshine, Vic. 1867: Thomas Moss died in Victoria, aged 56.
