Anthony was transported on "Surprize". He married Susannah Cross, 1812 at Windsor. V18121324 - 3A/1812 Richardson Anthony Cross Susannah. They had one child, Rosanna, born 1814. Anthony died in 1815 and Susannah remarried soon thereafter.

National Archives. HO 47/6/72 [1787] Certificate/memorial of Henry Gould on several convicts attainted at the Lent Assizes 1787 for whom 'some favourable Circumstances' appeared after their trial, and recommended for mercy on the conditions set against their names: Surrey Assizes at Kingston, 2 April 1787 Anthony Richardson, for stealing goods, value £8:12:2, property of John Hampsher. 14 years transportation.

Family connections for Anthony (Richardson) are: RICHARDSON Anthony (Richardson) was born about 1776. He was tried for stealing goods of John (Hampsher) at Surrey Lent Assizes on 2 4 1787 (sentenced to (death? initially commuted) 14years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 6 1790 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship SURPRIZE. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom on 9 2 1811. He was an emancipist when he married Susannah (Cross her first marriage) on 3 2 1812 at St Matthews CofE Sydney.>>>He died on 22 5 1815 or 4 2 1816(Smees records) age39or43 at Wilberforce & was buried at St Matthews CofE Windsor. [Some details taken from this Website] Susannah (Cross) was born in 1792. She married secondly Richard (Rose) on 16 8 1817 at St Matthews CofE Windsor & produced at least 8children. She died on 27 8 1872 age about80 mother of at least 9children. Details of Susannah (Cross)s family are given in entry for Charles (Cross NEPTUNE 1790) on this Website. Anthony (Richardson) & Susannah (Cross) produced 1child: 1.Rosannah (Richardson) was born on 8 2 1814 & was baptised on 13 3 1814 at St Matthews CofE Windsor, She died on 21 10 1892 age78. Addition for Rosannah: 1.Rosannah (Richardson) was born on 8 2 1814 at Wilberforce & baptised on 13 3 1814 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. She married at age14 with consent of her parents William (Green) on 8 9 1828 at St Thomas CofE/Wesleyan Sackville Reach & produced 1child. She apparantly married again after her husbands death in 1846. She died on 21 10 1892 age78 mother of 1known child. ..William (Green) was born on 8 5 1805 & baptised on 21 4 1811 age5 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He was recorded in 1830 as a farmer. He died on 16 12 1846 age41. ..Details of William (Green)s family are given in entry for William (Green BARWELL 1798) on this Website.
