My Great Great Great Grandmother,Harriet was married and had 2 sons at the time of her sentencing, her husband seems to have abandoned the family, leaving them in financial hardship, leading to theft and transportation. harriet married George Kenniwell and raised a family, she died 4/10/1849.

A letter from Harriet Sleigh thanking Elizabeth Fry can be found in Elizabeth Fry’s biography compiled by Fry’s daughters. A copy can be read on line from website London Lives.
(Perhaps Rev Marsden helped Harriet write this letter.)
