Stephen arrived in W.A. in 1854 aboard the Sea Park. He was convicted at Gloucester on the 30th March 1850 for burglary and received 10yrs. Ticket of leave No 7505. He was granted a conditional pardon on the 31st May 1860. The same day he married Mary Pollard. Reg No. 2705, Occupation shoemaker, height 6'1", Hair Brown, Eyes Grey, Face Long, Complexion sallow, build slight.
